Why You Should Have A Thumb Drive If You’re Traveling With A Digital Camera
Everyone who has ever traveled with a digital camera has always worried about the unthinkable happening: what would they do if their camera became lost or stolen? A great way to lessen the chance of losing valuable and sentimental photographs is by bringing a thumb drive with you. There are a number of places in most vacation destinations where travelers are welcome to use computers like in internet cafes and hotel lobbies. Every so often if you transfer photos from your camera to the thumb drive then you are protecting yourself from losing too many photos should your camera come up missing or stolen. You would still have most or all of the photos saved on your thumb drive. Similarly, if you travel with your laptop then you should regularly transfer your vacation photos from you camera to the computer as a way of saving them. This also frees up the camera’s memory card to take more photos.
