Helicopter view of UluruUluru, also referred to as Ayers Rock, is a large sandstone rock formation in the southern part of the Northern Territory, central Australia.

It lies 335 km (208 mi) south west of the nearest large town, Alice Springs; 450 km (280 mi) by road. Kata Tjuta and Uluru are the two major features of the Uluru - Kata Tjuta National Park. (more…)

Getting to the Northern Territory

ae5_cockpit_smallDarwin is increasingly popular as a traveller’s gateway between Australia and Asia. Our visitors are now choosing to fly to Singapore and catch the short flight down to Darwin.

If you fly from the Americas and enter another Australian city, just jump on a domestic airline to Darwin, Alice Springs or Yulara, the location of Uluru/Ayers Rock. Either way, the Northern Territory is an easy destination to get to and a great place to visit.
