Sydney Harbour Week will make a splash 7–15 March, with more than 30 exciting events taking place on and around the water – many of them FREE!

With something for everyone, immerse yourself in Sydney Harbour Week by swimming, sailing, snorkelling, scuba diving and exploring our magnificent harbour.

Sydney Harbour will come alive when more than 350 yachts battle it out on the water for the prestigious Audi Sydney Harbour Regatta – a truly amazing sight that attracts thousands of spectators to the foreshore!

Explore the harbour from a different angle with a choice of guided pleasure dives and snorkelling tours through the rich marine environment of Sydney’s harbour and marvel at the beautiful underwater world and abundant sea life.

Challenge yourself and paddle or swim from the Harbour Bridge to Manly Beach in the popular Bridge to Beach race or join more than 800 valiant swimmers as they take the plunge and race across the harbour in the 8th annual Sydney Harbour Swim Classic.

Learn about the harbour and its history with guided tours of Fort Denison where you can soak up 150 years of history and the spectacular 360-degree view of Sydney Harbour.

There is so much for the kids to do during Sydney Harbour Week including being part of the ‘crew’ of the new HMS Discovery program at The Rocks Discovery Museum. Kids can also enjoy a day trip aboard a spectacular 19th Century Tall Ship or a sail around the harbour in a classic steam ship. Budding photographers can pick up tips and advice on an interactive expedition around North Head Sanctuary with professional photographer Chris Gleisner.

Experience the thrill of yachting in a safe and friendly environment and learn to sail on Sydney Harbour. Boat enthusiasts will also love the Wooden Boat Raft Up and a six-hour sail off Sydney heads on-board the James Craig.

Take advantage of the rare opportunity to learn about the charming colonial cottage at Camp Cove with a special open day at the former marine biological station. See the scientists in action on a fun and educational day with seminars, displays and activities for all ages.

Take a tour to the top of Macquarie Lighthouse to learn about the history of this remarkable place and enjoy magnificent city and harbour views. Macquarie Lighthouse is Australia’s first and longest operating navigational light.
